Meet Teresa, your trusted Loan Consultant. Teresa started her career in the mortgage business in 1985, processing while still in college. She then graduated from Salisbury University in 1985, majoring in finance with a minor in economics. Upon moving to Virginia in 1986, she continued processing mortgages before starting her origination career in 1987 with Weaver Brothers. Teresa put the petal to the metal and earned Rookie of the Year in 1987.
She then moved to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage October 1991, where she continued to build a positive reputation for herself. While at Wells Fargo, she earned Leaders Club for 21 years and Presidents club for 3 years. She worked dual roles for 21 years, as a manager and originator. She was recognized as the #5 office in all of Wells Fargo for the year of 2015!
Teresa retired from Wells Fargo in February of 2019 to join an independent mortgage lender and focus on The Rutherford Mortgage Team! Caliber Home Loans is an independent lender that offers a growing range of home loan and refinancing options.
